The Division - Delayed Again

The Division Ubisoft E32015
The Division is landing March 8, 2016
Ubisoft showcased The Division again during their games conference at E3 over the weekend. The upcoming instalment in the Tom Clancy series finally has a release date of March 8, 2016.

The game was expected to be released in 2014 but has kept being pushed back for various reasons by developers Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft ReflectionsUbisoft Massive, and Ubisoft Annecy. The open-world RPG has been eagerly anticipated since it was first announced, with several trailers highlighting the game's extensive multiplayer mode and gorgeous visuals.

Even though The Division has been pushed back, it is admirable that Ubisoft didn't release the game until it was ready, meaning they won't have to deal with an angry backlash from disgruntled consumers furious that they had released a bugged game. Of course, it's now in Ubisoft's best interests to make sure any issues with the game are completely ironed out before its release in March next year.

The Division trailer includes much of the same gameplay we've already seen but also showed the possibility that your teammates can turn on you at any time during the game, and rob you of your possessions. A beta of The Division will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2016. The trailer can be seen below.
